It's been a busy week, but all the signs are reminding me to keep going even when the going gets tough. I stumbled across "It's Not Over Yet" by for KING & COUNTRY on the radio after a rather intense day at work this week, and it's resonated with me ever since. The chorus: "To everyone who's hit their limit it's not over yet. It's not over yet. And even when you think you're finished, it's not over yet. It's not over yet" feels like it's demanding my attention. On top of that, I recently found the anime, The Rising of the Shield Hero. Regardless of the seemingly endless adversity and obstacles Naofumi encounters, he still manages to persevere and become a great hero (the best of the four summoned); it feels like another sign for me to persist, regardless of the challenges that lie before me, in order to become my best self. The road may be long, difficult, even perilous at times, but it will all be worth it. Much like Naofumi, I will find priceless and worthwhile joy as well as personal treasures along the way. The adversity will only help me appreciate it all the more, and when it feels like the challenge becomes too great for me, those on my team will lift my spirits and help me overcome any and all obstacles. It'll be much like how one of my besties and I found a beautiful sunset at the end of our outing today; it was absolutely stunning.
