Happy New Year! May 2025 Be Happy and Bright!

Wishing everyone a bright, happy, and peaceful new year! May 2025 bring you prosperity, health, joy, healing, and growth! 2024 was certainly an interesting ride, full of ups and downs, and we the new year brings the opportunity for a fresh start. You can choose to empower yourself, living a life that is genuine and fits your needs. You can choose to stop unhelpful habits, let go of things, people, and/or places that no longer serve you. You can choose to focus your time, energy, and effort on creating your best life and best self, learning, growing, and improving. You can take what you've learned from your past and choose the path you wish to take moving forward. Life can be messy, complicated, and challenging, but you don't have to keep making the same choices; at any given day or moment, you can decide enough is enough and begin the process of changing and improving. If you want to learn more about the recent new moon in Capricorn and the fresh start energy it brings to the new year, feel free to check out the following video:

This week was pretty chill, and Tsuki was happy that I was home more due to school not being in session (although, she was bummed that I still had pet sitting and ended up spending New Year's Eve with my friend, her two daughters, and their kittens--it was a lot of fun baking, cooking, catching up, enjoying tasty treats, and just relaxing with them). Otherwise, I ended up staying home working on diamond art, writing, reading, listening to relaxing music, snuggling with Tsuki, or working on a picture book idea. This weekend also brought a winter storm full of ice and snow, so it was the perfect excuse to stay cozy indoors and chill.

Tsuki had a pretty relaxing week, full of snuggling and cozy cat naps. The colder weather definitely had her snoozing more and wanting to cuddle up with me and other warm spots (like by the space heater or fireplace). Tsuki loved relaxing, watching birds, other animals, and the snow from her window shelf. She also would end up waiting at the window for me to return whenever I did end up going out into the world. That said, she also had plenty of fun as I bought her new toys that she was all too eager to play with. The interactive, flopping koi fish toy might be her favorite.

This week I created more new content for Creativity Chronicles, so feel free to check out the newest content! Also feel free to check out our Thought Spot section that explores various topics of thought and conversation!

New Creativity Chronicles' content included:

Praying for everyone that got caught up in the lies and guilt-tripping. These are some nasty consequences. This is why genuine conversations about concerns and potential consequences are necessary; people should not be shamed and labeled as "conspiracy theorists" just for having questions and wanting a conversation. There are life-long consequences, challenges, and damages that can happen, which is why informed consent is vital.

No matter what comes your way, know that you get to choose how you show up in the world. Yes, some days are hard and feel like they're pushing you to the breaking point. These times hurt profusely, so remember that you're human. Be gentle with yourself because you don't have all the answers nor can you do it all on your own. It's okay (and necessary) to ask for help. Also, remind yourself that no matter how dark and intense the storm, it shall pass. The sun will come out again. Light, love, laughter, joy, peace, and the good of life will come again. Yes, the dark, stormy days are unpleasant, but it's this contrast that allows us to appreciate the good times all the more. Take your time to pause, breathe, process, grieve, reflect, and move forward in your own timing. There's no rush. You're doing just fine; you're a masterpiece and work-in-progress at the same time. You've got this, so don't give up. 2025 can be your best year yet! Wishing you a wonderful, warm, peaceful rest of your weekend!
