I hope everyone is doing well and that the energies are treating you kindly as we are in the thick of the chaotic holiday season. Hopefully, you all have been able to avoid all the exhausting drama that can spring up this time of year. Unfortunately, I haven't been so lucky as my family seems to live off the drama yet somehow be oblivious to how they instigate it all. So draining, and they can be so petty and chaotic. Make sure to find peace and quiet when you can and to make time for self-care--your well-being truly matters and should be prioritized. People are going to do what they do, and the only thing you can control is what you choose to do and how you live your life. So, take some time to breathe, rest, relax, and reflect. The energies as of late could stir up things, so if you want to learn more about the recent new moon in Sagittarius, feel free to check out the videos below:
The boys were excited for a short school week this week due to Thanksgiving break, and I can't say I blame them. With the decreased daylight and colder weather, it's harder to want to get out and do a bunch of things (such as bouncing around from class to class, homework, after school activities, etc.). I hope that they could make the most of the short break to rest up and recuperate; I know that I definitely took advantage of it, resting and relaxing with Tsuki when I could.
Tsuki had a week full of rest and relaxation also paired with some hiding (because my brother kept insisting on bringing his massive, untrained dog over, and she hates him). As long as my brother and his dog were gone, she was happy (and I genuinely don't blame her for that--those two are exhausting). Tsuki enjoyed plenty of cozy cat naps, lounging by space heaters, birdwatching from her window shelf, watching the snow, playing with packing paper, knocking ornaments around, and doing whatever else she pleased. It's nice to spend quiet nights alone with Tsuki.

As life continues to throw storms, chaos, and the unexpected your way, remember to be gentle with yourself and make time for what you need. You're allowed to tend to your needs and prioritize yourself, regardless of what anyone else tells you; they might try to tell you you're being "selfish," but you can put your best foot forward and handle things better when you practice self-care and meeting your own needs. While it's true that there is a need to compromise and give, that doesn't mean that you should give so much that there's nothing left for you--when you leave yourself a husk of the real you, you're not much help to anyone. Do what you need, even if that means telling other people no (a yes to others shouldn't be a major no to yourself). Rest if you need it. Go at a slower pace if necessary. Take your time. Quality is better than quantity, after all. It's okay if your path doesn't look like others'; you're a unique individual and there's no one else like you. Embrace yourself, strengths and areas of challenge, and see what you can do, what you want to do, and how you can grow. You're capable of so many great things if you give yourself the chance, and that includes taking proper care of yourself. Just do your best, and it will all work out, even if it doesn't seem like it at first. If something doesn't work out right away, it's because you have something better in store for you, so have patience and keep moving forward. You've got this! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
